An alert is a great way for you to keep tabs on your important business metrics even when you are away from your Dasheroo account. For example, you could track daily website visitors to see if they spike above, or drop below, a specific number. You could also track your social media fans and followers and get “alerted” if there is an important change within a 24 hour period.
Just pick a specific metric within one of your insights, define the trigger criteria and you’re all set. You will receive an email notification if your alert is triggered and you’ll also see this display on your dashboard.
Below is an example of an insight with two alerts. The one in blue is active but has not been triggered yet. The one in orange is active and has been triggered within the last 24 hours.
