I’ve set up an alert on a specific insight but I see that it also appears on other insights within my dashboard. How come?

Although an alert is set up on a specific insight, it will be visible on any insight where that metric is contained. In some cases the same metric may be part of multiple insights. For example, the metric for Facebook “Fans” exists as a standalone insight but it’s contained within the Facebook Overview insight as well.
